ZivaHub Terms of Access
The following terms and conditions should be considered prior to accessing ZivaHub Open Data UCT in order to ensure acceptable and appropriate use of the research data repository.
ZivaHub Terms of Access
The University of Cape Town (UCT) seeks to ensure consistent practice related to research data management principles towards Open Science. UCT supports effective data sharing, including open access and the need for data to be findable, accessible, interoperable and reusable as part of the FAIR principles.
The following terms and conditions should be considered prior to accessing ZivaHub Open Data UCT in order to ensure acceptable and appropriate use of the research data repository.
ZivaHub Open Data UCT is provided only for your personal, non-commercial research purposes and is at all times subject to these Terms.
1. Access to Files:
1.1 Authorized Use: You agree to access and use the files hosted on ZivaHub Open Data UCT solely for lawful purposes and in accordance with any applicable laws and regulations. You may not use the files for any illegal or unauthorized purpose, including but not limited to copyright infringement or unauthorized distribution of data.
1.2 Access Restrictions: UCT reserves the right to restrict or terminate access to certain files or the entire repository at any time and for any reason, without prior notice.
