• Libraries Upcoming Extended Operating Hours

    The operating hours of the Chancellor Oppenheimer Library, Bongani Mayosi Health Sciences Library and Law Library will be extended for the period from Saturday 24 May – Friday 20 June 2025 (consolidation and exams) as follows:

    Chancellor Oppenheimer Library extended hours

    Mondays – Fridays 08:00 – 24:00
    Saturdays 09:00 – 17:00
    Sundays 09:00 – 17:00

    Bongani Mayosi Health Sciences Library extended hours

    Mondays – Thursdays 08:30 – 22:00
    Fridays 08:30 – 17:00
    Saturdays 09:00 – 17:00
    Sundays 09:00 – 17:00

    Law Library extended hours

    Mondays – Thursdays 08:00 – 23:00
    Fridays 08:00 – 17:00
    Saturdays 09:00 – 17:00
    Sundays 09:00 – 17:00

    The 24/7 study spaces in Hlanganani, the Knowledge Commons, Impilo Junction and Law Library will be in operation when the respective libraries are closed.

    Vacation hours will be in effect as of Saturday 21 June.
