The Library Infrastructure, Technology Support and Operations (LITO) team performs a critical, multifaceted role within UCT Libraries. The unit comprises three distinct pillars:

• Infrastructure: Managing the extensive physical footprint of UCT Libraries, including all buildings and encompassing environments.
• Technology Support: Providing dedicated, user-facing assistance for technology equipment, bridging the support gap between ICTS and library-specific needs, and managing the technology inventory.
• Operations: Overseeing daily physical systems, maintenance cycles, space management, logistics, and essential workflows.
