Draft National Policy Framework for Heritage Memorialisation

The Draft National Policy Framework for Heritage Memorialisation has been published in the Government Gazette for public comments. The policy "aims to consolidate the past efforts towards memorialisation of South Africa’s heritage that recognises and promotes national identity through reconciliation, healing, social cohesion, community involvement and ownership, economic upliftment and education."
