Draft National Waste Management Strategy 2026

The Department of Forestry, Fisheries and the Environment has called for comment on the Draft Waste Management Strategy 2026. "The draft NWMS 2026 provides government policy and strategic interventions for the waste sector and is aligned to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of Agenda 2030, adopted by all United Nations (UN) member states in January 2016. It is also responsive to South Africa’s National Development Plan (NDP): Vision 2030."
