New statistical publications

Statistics South Africa has released Statistics in Brief 2025 and National Poverty Lines 2025. "Stats in Brief presents data sourced from a range of Statistics South Africa’s (Stats SA) publications produced throughout the year." "The national poverty lines were constructed using the Cost of Basic Needs (CoBN) approach which links welfare to the consumption of goods and services. The lines contain both food and non-food components of household consumption expenditure."
