The Textbook Evaluation Report of the Ministerial Task Team: Evaluation of a Broad Sample of Existing Textbooks and Learning Materials Towards Developing a Textbook Policy that Promotes Diversity was launched on Friday 5 April by the Minister of Basic Education. "The brief of the Ministerial Committee, which was published in the Government Gazette of 12 February 2016, was to look into social variables such as racism, sexism and other forms of discrimination in textbooks."
