Coega Special Economic Zone, 2025

Statistics South Africa has published the Coega Special Economic Zone, 2025 report. "The total number of tenants in the Coega Special Economic Zone in 2025 was 57, representing an increase of 11 enterprises compared to 2024 (46 enterprises). The total income in the Coega Special Economic Zone in 2025 was R24 959 million. The total number of persons employed (including employees employed through labour brokers) in the Coega Special Economic Zone as at the end of June 2025 was 11 243, an increase of 14,2% from the number reported in 2024 (9 842)."
