The Department of Trade and Industry has published the Draft Intellectual Property Policy of the Republic of South Africa Phase 1 (2017) for public comment. "The proposed draft policy follows the Intellectual Property Consultative Framework (2016) and replaces any or all previous Draft Intellectual Property policies."
