Industrial Policy Action Plan 2017/18-2019/20

The Industrial Policy Action Plan 2017/18-2019/20 (Part 1, Part 2) "is in its ninth annual iteration based on the National Industry Policy Framework and its objectives. IPAP 2017/18 places emphasis on job creation with a continuously strengthening focus on labour intensity, especially in labour intensive sectors that link the productive sectors of the economy, across integrated value chains.  IPAP 2017/18 seeks to achieve a higher impact in difficult economic circumstances. It recognises that key domestic constraints constitute a considerable break on industrialisation. IPAP 2017/18 therefore recommends continued support for a constructive and solutions-based approach to key challenges which has been adopted by the economic cluster."
