The National Land Transport Strategic Framework (2017-2022) "sets out strategic priorities to apply transport planning in achieving social, health, economic and environmental outcomes. The identified strategic priorities and outcomes link the Framework to the NDP, NATMAP, provincial transport and spatial planning and broader strategies and plans at Local Government level.
The overall vision of the NLTSF is to create: An integrated and efficient transport system supporting a thriving economy that promotes sustainable economic growth, provides safe and accessible mobility options, socially includes all communities and preserves the environment."
