National Gambling Policy: Final Policy

The Department of Trade and Industry has published the National Gambling Policy: Final Policy. "The policy is premised partly on the Gambling Review Commission (GRC) Report, reports from Parliament on the GRC Report, stakeholder engagements, benchmarks and excursion conducted." The key policy positions are on Regulatory structures and framework, Casinos, Limited Pay-out Machines (LPMs), Bingo, Betting by Horseracing Operators and Bookmakers, Unlawful Winnings Trust, Social Impact Minimisation, Enforcement, Economic and employment benefits within the gambling sector and New forms of gambling.
