Farm workers get minimum wage increase

The minimum wage for farm workers has been set at R2778.83 per month effective from 1 March 2016 to 28 February 2017. This was published as an Amendment to Sectoral Determination 13 in Government Gazette No. 39648 of 3 February 2016. This amounts to a weekly rate of R641.32 and an hourly rate of R14.25.
