City of Cape Town Long-Term Water Conservation and Water Demand Management Strategy

The City of Cape Town requests public input on the new draft Long-Term Water Conservation and Water Demand Management Strategy: “From Water Scarcity to Water Security – Making Cape Town a Water Efficient City.” This "strategy update is to highlight and ensure the long-term balance between available water resources and water demand, to achieve equity and redistribution of our water resources, to ensure water security for the future, to ensure enough water for our national economic growth, and to ensure water use efficiency."
