Behavioural and health impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic in South Africa
Statistics South Africa has released a report with the results of a first online survey, titled, Behavioural and health impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic in South Africa. "Since the lockdown period for South Africa started on 27 March 2020, more than half (60,1%) of respondents who participated in the online survey reported that they were very concerned or extremely concerned about the impact of COVID-19 on their own health. As far as the economy was concerned, 93,2% of respondents were very concerned or extremely concerned about the possible economic collapse of the country due to the COVID-19 epidemic."
