Eskom loadshedding

Western Cape Premier, Alan Winde, has called on the President to show the leadership required to avoid Stage 8 loadshedding or Day 8. Premier Winde advocates the approach taken in the Western Cape to avoid "Day Zero" in the drought. The Department of Mineral Resources and Energy have announced "immediate measures to ensure energy supply for the country."
