After over 25 years under the management of the publishing house Juta & Company, we have brought UCT Press home and relaunched through UCT Libraries.
Landmark moment as UCT Press comes home
The University of Cape Town’s (UCT) Chancellor Oppenheimer Library was a hive of activity as the UCT Press Board, members of the Leadership Lekgotla and other university delegates gathered to celebrate the homecoming of UCT Press.
African Studies Book Collection
Published Collections included the significant African Studies collections of published monographs and pamphlets. This collection was founded in 1953.
