The Inequality Trends in South Africa: a multidimensional diagnostic of inequality report "was borne out of a collaborative process between Statistics South Africa, the Southern Africa Labour Development Research Unit (SALDRU), and the Agence Française de Développement (AFD) Group." The dimensions of poverty and inequality covered in this report are: "income, employment, earnings, assets, social mobility, health, education, and access to basic services and infrastructure."
