National Social Economy Draft Green Paper

The National Social Economy Draft Green Paper was presented at a national consultation conference in Sandton " as a preliminary policy document that sets out the government’s proposals to create an enabling environment on social economy for initial feedback from key stakeholders and the public." 

"This Draft Green Paper proposes the following overall policy position for consideration: While facilitating the growth of the Social Economy, its characteristics of solidarity, social cohesion, social inclusion, self-organisation and selfsustainability should be nurtured. Regulation and financial incentives should be focused, supportive and incisive."
