Celebrating 20 Years of Human Settlements

This book, titled Celebrating 20 Years of Human Settlements: Bringing the Freedom Charter to Life, tells the story of the people of South Africa from 1994 to 2014, through the implementation of our housing policies and decisions. It reminds us of the journey we have travelled from the time of our fi rst democratic President Nelson Mandela and our first Minister of Housing, Joe Slovo.
