  • Snape Library Learning Lounge extended hours

    Please note that the operating hours for Snape Library Learning Lounge will be extended from the start of the second semester. Effective 28 July 2025, the lounge will be open from 08h00 to 18h00 on weekdays.

  • Wanted: Student Assistant

    We are hiring! The Bongani Mayosi Health Sciences Library invites you to apply for a student assistant position.  

    Please note that, to be considered for the post, students need to be in their fourth year of study or longer. Applications will close on 31 October 2025 at 17h00, and no late or incomplete applications will be considered. Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted for an interview.  If you have not heard from us within two weeks of the closing date, please consider your application unsuccessful.

    The operating hours of the Chancellor Oppenheimer Library, Bongani Mayosi Health Sciences Library and Law Library will be extended for the period from Sunday 26 October – Friday 21 November 2025.

    The 24/7 study spaces in Hlanganani, the Knowledge Commons, Impilo Junction and Law Library will be in operation when the respective libraries are closed.
