A Western Cape View on Entrepreneurial Activity and Local Economic Development

A Western Cape View on Entrepreneurial Activity and Local Economic Development has been published by Stellenbosch University, together with the Global Entrepreneurship Monitor South Africa, and the Western Cape Government's Department of Economic Affairs and Tourism. "The Western Cape continues to be one of South Africa’s most competitive environments for early-stage business survival and opportunitydriven entrepreneurship. The transition from entrepreneurial intention to entrepreneurial action remains a critical constraint. The report findings provide an important evidence base to better understand the entrepreneurial pipeline, mindset, the strengths, constraints, and future opportunities within the Western Cape entrepreneurial ecosystem."
